Chef Chris Wade, the CEO and Executive Chef of Steak Maestro Australia, is bringing his expertise to Hilton Kuala Lumpur for an exclusive four-night event from 12 – 16 June 2024. Dubbed the “Guru of the Grill”, Chef Wade is known for his exceptional skills in preparing premium Wagyu cuts. During this special event, guests will have the opportunity to indulge in a 5-course wine pairing menu featuring a selection of Wagyu dishes expertly paired with fine wines.

The culinary journey begins with canapés, including Wagyu Tartlet and Smoked Egg Gel with Caviar, paired with the 2021 Château Gantonnet Blanc from Bordeaux, France. The first course features Wagyu Bresaola with Truffle Potato Terrine and Finger Lime, paired with the same 2021 Château Gantonnet Blanc. The second course is the Wagyu Skewer with Brisket and Pastrami, Steak Maestro Prestige Rub with Lemon Myrtle, and Damper Flatbread with Macadamia Cream, expertly paired with the 2021 Robert Mondavi Winery Private Selection Chardonnay from Napa Valley, USA.

The main course is the Wagyu Hanger Steak with Beef Cheek Crisp and Root Vegetable Textures, paired with the 2022 Grant Burge 5th Generation Shiraz from Barossa Valley, Australia. The Wagyu Porterhouse MBS 9+ with Celeriac Cream and Crisp, Black Garlic, Sauce Bordelaise, and Steak Maestro Signature Spice Rub is paired with the 2019 Château Gantonnet Rouge from Bordeaux, France. The pre-dessert is the Salted Caramel Golden Pearl with Passion Fruit Caviar and Freeze Dried Raspberry, paired with the 2021 Michele Chiarlo Nivole Moscato d’Asti DOCG from Piedmont, Italy. Finally, the dessert is the Strawberry Mousse with Sable Crumble, White Chocolate and Citrus Ice Cream, also paired with the 2021 Michele Chiarlo Nivole Moscato d’Asti DOCG.
